This past week I stayed within Austin, Texas - a college town within the USA. Its a pretty funky place, in fact it is known as the live music city of the USA too - there are always live gigs going around.
So I stayed with my mate Joe in Austin and had a great time. We managed to experience some Texican culture, try some Cajun style seafood (crawfish, stone crab, snow crab boiled in delicious spices), sample some fine Texan beer (my favourites are Shiner Bock and Pyramid Apricot) and catch a live band (the group was called Guster, kinda like a mixture of Cold Play and something else, cant work it out just yet).

Hi Ed,
It's good to hear what you've been getting up to. I have been checking you entries regularly - i.e. usually about three times a day - to distract me from reality. Thank you for your sunshine.
Buy some bullets from Kmart while you're in Texas, and say hi to Ahmed when you consequently get arrested and sent to Guantanomo bay - you can't miss him... he has a beard.
Oh, if you plan to head back to Nevada, I just found out that Heidi Fleiss has started a stud farm there. I think she's interviewing for positions (excuse the pun). You would definitely be top end, couz. Definitely! Think about it.

Have fun!

Hey Eddie!
Sounds like you are having an awesome trip. Sorry to hear you were sick recently. Reading your stories brings back memories of when I was o/s last year. New York was awesome and so was Vegas! Didn't get a chance to get to Texas but sounds like a great place too.
I got my tickets to the Anzac day game today - managed to get 7 seats in a row. You should be in one of them!!!
I finally got new tyres for my car, cost me a bomb, got Eagle F1's - they handle really well. I nearly got in a punch with this old guy at the car wash, cos he said I was taking to long to clean my car, I told him to get...
Work is aight, keeping me busy. The long weekend was a good break, wanted to get away but no one wanted to go anywhere - boring!
Anyways dude I gotta bounce, take it sleazy and keep safe.
btw eddie...SHUT UP!
Keep smiling - you've got mad teeth,
b.diddy

Mr Ed,
I'm so glad you didn't have a song for 'Texas Texas' because your New York 'rendition' was how do you say ..... ;)
Sport report time?
Yes, Australia have made it to the semi finals of the cricket world cup. They are joined by New Zealand and Sri Lanka. The final team is likely to be England but maybe South Africa can upset the Barmy Army!
Manchester United have made it to the final of the FA Cup by beating Watford 4-1 on Saturday. Wayne Rooney and Ronaldo were on hand to score 3 goals between them. Chelsea beat Blackburn in extra time to secure their spot at Wembley in May.
In sadder news, the Mighty Muppets (our indoor team) got knocked out of the semi finals last night which means NO more trophies (we had won 3 so far this season) and this was our last chance at an indoor trophy as the outdoor season kicks off on Saturday!
How is everything else going you may ask? Well it's not sport related so you probably don't want to hear about it! :D
I mean I could tell you about new tyres like some other posters but I'm sure when you are looking at the statue of liberty by day, new tyres aren't really going to do it for you ;)
hehehe btw I was joking B Dawg!
Collingwood won on the weekend, as did the Saints :) 54 points BOY! But footy has lost the edge lately :\
Alright back to work ... fun fun ...
Enjoy the American's, if that is possible :P
James
